NterOne Upholds Tradition of Fighting Holiday Hunger

NterOne Corporation pairs with the Feeding America network for the holiday season, pledging meals in exchange for holiday enrollment.

NterOne is helping the Feeding America network of food banks lead the fight against hunger in communities nationwide. The Feeding America network helps provide meals to more than 46 million Americans each year.

NterOne team members across the nation volunteer at local food banks, meeting immediate needs by helping to check inventory, stock shelves, sort food and pull orders. NterOne Corporation teams up again with the Harvest Food Bank this holiday season.

Last holiday season, NterOne established a new tradition pursuant to its mission to meet the needs of families that face hunger. This year, the company has raised the bar. For each student NterOne registers between Nov. 1 and Dec. 31, 2015, the company pledges to donate 50 meals—enough to provide a family with enough meals for a week. The class doesn’t have to take place between these dates; students just need to enroll between these dates.

“This is our second year in partnering with Feeding America to donate meals to those in need,” said Anthony Hamilton, chairman and founder of NterOne. “We donated over 12,000 meals last year, and have a goal of doubling that this year.”

Not only will the students who enroll between these dates receive the quality training that they need to succeed and advance in their careers, they will also help families in need across the nation.

One in six people struggle with hunger in America. According to Feeding America Hunger Statistics, 49.1 million Americans live in food-insecure households. Of these 49.1 million, 33.3 million are adults and 15.8 million are children.

"At NterOne, part of our core values is giving back to those in need,” said Hamilton. “It’s a very simple principle that we live by as a company. We are both humbled and proud to partner with Feeding America."

For careers focused around technologies such as Data Center, Security, Virtualization, Cloud, Wireless, Collaboration, Networking, and Systems Management NterOne Corporation offers the live, instructor-led training that students need to ace the exams and obtain the specific certifications that will further their careers. NterOne Corporation’s recent achievement as a Direct Learning Partner with Cisco as well as being awarded the 2014 Cisco Acceleration Partner of the Year and Cisco Customer Innovation Award for the first quarter of FY 2015, is proof that the company is qualified to help students meet their training needs.
